I'm an Artist, Educator, Multi-passionate Entrepreneur, and Founder of The Cake Mamas.
I TEACH SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS HOW TO CREATE UNSTOPPABLE BRANDS AND INCREASE THEIR PROFITS!
Because let's face it... If you're not making money, your business doesn't make sense.
It’s ELECTION DAY! And we decided enough is enough...
Why is it that as people we’re so filtered all the damn time!
We’re so worried that we’re gonna piss someone off because of our own opinions. We avoid certain topics because it’s gotten to a point where relationships fall apart, family members don’t speak, and division becomes more and more of a “normalcy”.
So today Eddie and I decided, to F* the haters and just say the sh*t you aren’t supposed to say!

WHAT THE HELL is this episode about?
I know it sounds sexual but trust me it’s 100% NOT!
If you’ve been following me and social media then you know that we recently started doing MAJOR renovations on our house that we’ve saved and prayed for 15 years! What a blessing right!
You can read more about my post HERE!
Through this home renovation, I was inspired for the title of this week’s episode and it made me realize that sometimes in order to grow you have to strip down everything you know to the foundation and be FULLY EXPOSED.

Friend, let me tell you…
I have decision fatigue!!!
And it is so real!! I talk ALL about why in the most recent episodes of the Podcast!
Through all these decisions I’ve had to make, I’ve learned a few things! 1)Each decision produces an outcome or consequence that requires us to make the best of it and 2) The decisions are neither good nor bad; it's what you do with them that makes the difference.

Sometimes, you...
Fun Fact: Back in 2009, I started my business in the middle of a recession. Fast forward 11 and ½ years later and I’m officially closing that chapter and moving forward with coaching and consulting fellow entrepreneurs to create their dream businesses and I’m so READY and freaking excited to get GOING!
And friend, if you have a passion or business idea that you’ve been thinking about NOW is the time to act and it comes down to two things: necessity and opportunity.
Here’s a breakdown of what Eddie and I discussed…
These past few weeks have been crazy to say the least. A lot of life changing shit has happened including closing my business of 10 years to help other entrepreneurs build their dream businesses!
Let me reassure you this isn’t a sad thing. I’m so EXCITED for this next chapter of my life and can’t wait to fully commit to this new business.
If you’ve been following me recently then you know The Cake Mamas had a huge garage sale to liquidate all our equipment and tons of fellow bakers and supporters came out which was amazing but after interacting and observing some of them I’ve noticed some important lessons that I want to share.

You are WORTH so much more SIS!!
Since being a coach, being a mother of three daughters, and employing tons of young females during my time as a business owner I’ve seen so many women struggle with knowing their worth and being able to articulate it to others.
Not only when it comes to relationships but also when it comes to being in the workforce.

Sometimes life gets really really hard, and we’re here to tell you that you’re not alone.
To be honest, life for us has been really difficult over these past couple of months and we’ve hit our breaking point. So we decided that this was our opportunity to share a vulnerable part of our life with our listeners and give a look into what we’ve been coping with as a family for the past couple of months.
Here’s a breakdown of what Eddie and I discussed…
We’re not sharing these stories with you to seek sympathy or “sorry’s”. We’re sharing...
In this episode I’m sharing my MUST-HAVE 3 ingredients to starting a business and HOW to be successful throughout the process!
After being a successful business owner of 10 years, having MULTIPLE businesses, and being a full-time coach and mentor, you can say I’ve learned a thing or two through the life experiences and challenges I’ve faced.
Through those 10 years, the knowledge I gained centers around three things. Sales, Marketing, and Improving my craft!

“You are who you choose to be” - anonymous
The idea of “truth” is a delicate thing. To you “truth” may mean one thing and for me it may mean something completely different.
As individuals we take on things that may ultimately mean something different for us than they would for someone else. It’s a belief system that's unique to us. Whereas, facts, are solid proof. There’s physical data, video, statistics, etc. So why are we talking about truth versus facts?
Because the truths we choose to believe determine so many crucial aspects of our lives. From parenting, to politics, to goals; the truths we believe are impacting our day to day life.
However, the problem is when we have to make excuses for “our truth” or “our beliefs” as individuals because we are seeking validation for the actual truth.

Let’s talk about currency!
I truly believe there are three types of currency in our lives!
Sure we all value money. When we grow up we turn our wild “wanna be” dreams into what “dreams” will make us the most money. Am I right to think this?
Look at this way…
When we ask kids what they want to be when they grow up they always say something crazy like a superhero. And then when reality hits them and they start to grow up, their dreams start to become more realistic.
But when we’re younger we don’t think about the other types of currency cause we’re so programmed to think about the big picture; MONEY!
So we’re here to offer a different perspective. What if we eliminate money from the picture and instead we choose to value time and quality!
