How do you feel about New Year's resolutions?Â
We’ve talked about them briefly in previous podcast episodes but since we’re only one week away from the New Year we thought we’d share some tips to help you kick off the year with a bang!Â
Here’s a breakdown of what Eddie and I discussed…Â
We’re huge fans of New Year's resolutions! Not so much for the strict discipline surrounding our daily routine but more so for creating aspirations!Â
It’s common that people don’t believe in New Year’s resolutions because they tend to fall off of routine,...
It’s OFFICIALLY four days until Christmas and we cannot wait! This time of year brings so much joy to our family and we love being able to come together and celebrate.Â
However, this time of year may not be as joyful for others as it is for us.Â
For some the holidays bring on great stress, sadness, and resentment.Â
Some people may be dealing with the loss of a loved one or the loss of a job, some may be feeling the financial burden of the holidays, while others may not get along with their family so they resent this time of year.Â
The holidays can trigger different emotions for different people. Some may be like us, super festive and excited to do all the things; while others may feel the pressure and heavy expectations to show up during this time of year.Â
This is why we decided to discuss the different perspectives and emotions that can come up during the holidays in the hopes that it will help you navigate uncomfortable situations and be more understanding of those who don’t fi...

Here’s a breakdown of what Eddie and I discussed…Â
Would you agree that most people wish and pray for more money?Â
Back in 2009, we were those people. We filed for bankruptcy, we both lost our 6-figure corporate jobs and had NO idea how we were going to pay our bills.Â
The thing is, people think that making more money will help alleviate debt, have a bigger house, or be better off; when in reality, all they need to know is how to make their money WORK for them.Â
Something we had NO IDEA how to do 10 years ago.Â
That’s why in this week’s PUSH we’re sharing all our MONEY TIPS so you can be more organized and financially literate as we enter into the new year.Â

What do the holidays mean to you?Â
Does it mean laughing with friends and family?Â
Does it mean eating all the holiday treats?Â
Does it mean shopping all the holiday sales?Â
Or maybe it brings about anxiety and overwhelm? Or even sadness and grief?Â
For myself, the holidays are centered around my five favorite “F” words…Â
Faith
Food
Family
Foundation
Fitness (fitness is last because I’m all about the holiday treats)Â
I look forward to the holidays every year because it means spending unplugged quality time with my family and the people I love the most. It also means eating a SH*T ton of delicious meals, laughing til we cry, and celebrating our favorite traditions.Â
However, I know everyone doesn’t celebrate the holidays like I do and that’s OKAY! For some people, the holidays are a challenging time because it triggers loss, sadness, and grief. It can also feel really overwhelming and stressful with all the things that come along with gathering for the holidays; like gift...
When was the last time you did something completely out of your comfort zone? Or maybe a better question is: when was the last time you challenged yourself to do something that made you uncomfortable?Â
If you can’t remember the last time you’ve purposely put yourself in a situation that you knew would be unfamiliar and possibly uncomfortable then friend you may be robbing yourself of joy.Â
The truth is, when we go beyond what’s familiar in life and what’s comfortable we open ourselves up to new experiences and opportunities. When you close yourself off to trying new things and constantly seeking familiarity we can missout on new things that can bring us fulfillment and joy; and friend, we don’t want that for you.Â
In this episode, we’re sharing how the key to happiness can be found by getting outside of your comfort zone and embracing the unknown.Â
 Here’s a breakdown of what Eddie and I discussed…
Â
Question: How do you respond when you’re faced with conflict?Â
Do you face the conflict head on? Do you take a few days to think about the situation and then address it? Or do you completely avoid it?Â
If you’re the type to completely avoid it you may also be the type who is prone to holding grudges.Â
While everybody is susceptible to holding a grudge, some personality types are more prone to it. They might be doing it as a coping mechanism or they simply don’t know how to release it when they feel they’ve been wronged.Â
The truth is, holding grudges is one of the most common ways people respond when dealing with conflict in relationships and in life. Some of us even hold grudges to the point where it begins to impact our mental and physical health.Â
This is why it’s so important to learn how to navigate conflict and discover the root of why you can’t move on.Â

Here’s a breakdown of what Eddie and I discussed…Â
Let’s be real… life can be a freaking handful.Â
Some days it’s busy, some days it's manageable, and other days you just wanna crawl into a ball and sleep all damn day. You feel me?Â
I’ve found this is especially true when you’re trying to manage all the things. Most of us are juggling family, business, relationships, plus all the other things we’ve added to our plates so it makes sense that we crumble when we’re faced with stressful situations.Â
One thing I do know based on my past experience is remaining calm and finding peace during moments like these can be difficult, but it doesn’t mean it’s impossible.Â
To help us breakdown this concept we’re excited to bring on our special guest, Jeff Banman to the podcast.Â
Jeff is currently the COO at Brute Force Training and a high-performance coach. He is also a recognized leader in the field of human behavior and performance in high-stress environments.
His experience working in the most stressful and demanding occupations helped hi...
