In fact, most mother’s I’ve spoke to before I decided to write this blog told me that they don’t really like Mother’s Day; and this week on the PUSH Podcast, (you can listen HERE) I’m sharing WHY Mother’s Day SUCKS but since you’re here, this is 5 REASONS WHY Mom’s may hate Mother’s Day:
I want to be CELEBRATED in the same way that I celebrate everyone else.
And the hard truth is... it’s often US Mom’s who take the initiative to plan everything.
If you’re a mom who feels a little disappointed or feels like it’s MORE work than relaxation on Mother’s Day then please share this with your significant other and your kids to give them a little wake up call. PSA... Dad’s, ...
To say things have been chaotic in the Copeland household is an understatement.Â
We could easily complain, break down, seek out empathy from others, and play the victim card but we just aren’t those people.Â
Instead, we’ve held it together (for the most part), have come together as a family, and are pushing through one day at a time.Â
We’ll dive into all the details in this week’s PUSH podcast episode (you won’t wanna miss this)!Â
Here’s a breakdown of what Eddie and I discussed…Â
The one thing that comes to mind as we deal with all this craziness is intention.Â
We’ve realized after 40 years that when you show up in life with intention and purpose, things just have a way of working itself out for you.Â
The truth is, there’s no medal for the BIGG...
I want to be clear that we don't think anyone's an idiot. We're just not those types of people. So if you clicked on this blog post to hear some, then friend, I’m sorry, this isn’t the blog for you.Â
If you know anything about us from Instagram, Facebook, in real life or even if you've been listening to the push podcast for a while, you know that our entire segment on what in the world is literally our way of being curious about dumb shit that people do, that we think might be kind of dumb or odd. But it's still us showing up in a way that's curious!Â
That’s really what this episode of the PUSH Podcast stemmed from; curiosity around how people act and communicate.Â
So, I wanna ask: do you solely hang out with people who have similar beliefs to you? It’s tempting to always surround yourself with people who have the same personality type as you. You fire each other up, you push the other to make decisions and take actions you would normally make, and you tend to agree with that per...
I think we can all agree that life isn’t in any way shape or form easy. In fact it’s the exact opposite. Life is freaking HARD. No one gives you a manual for it and you just kinda have to wing it as you go. But that’s also the beauty in life.Â
So the question is, “what do you do when life is just NOT going your way?”Â
Do you crumble at the thought of getting out of bed in the morning? Do you fake your way through the bullshit? Do you power through and trust that everything will work out in the end?Â
Everyone copes with obstacles and challenges differently but what we’ve found is that ignoring and hiding from our problems will only lead us to breaking down; physically and mentally.Â
Would you agree?Â
Life is full of challenges and sometimes it doesn’t matter how hard we try; things just feel like they’re piling on top of us. We’ve definitely been there and it can also feel really lonely.Â
We wanted to bring this up because mental health has been a HUGE ISSUE that’s taken a fro...
Reading the title of this blog, you either are all about it because you wanna learn tips on how to be more confident or you're curious why we’re talking about Kayne West.Â
So here’s the tea…Â
I’m personally not a fan of Kayne West but I am curious about people and their behaviors and the way they operate so when we recently watched the new Kayne West documentary on Netflix, called, “Jeen Yuhs,” we immediately knew we had to talk about it on the podcast!Â
One reason is because a lot of people are polarized by Kayne. They either think he’s narcissistic, egotistical, or cocky; while others think he’s literally a GENIUS. The second reason is because after watching his documentary, which he started 20 years ago before he was even a rapper, we were mind-blown by the unprecedented amount of self-confidence he had; so much so that we were inspired to pull 10 tips to help you BUILD more confidence.Â
Here’s a breakdown of what Eddie and I discussed…
It’s been awhile since we did a relationship/marriage topic on the podcast so in honor of Valentine’s Day just passing, we wanted to talk a little bit about relationships; specifically some of the most uncomfortable but necessary conversations you need to be having in your relationships.Â
Â
Here’s a breakdown of what Eddie and I discussed:Â
Â
For any relationship to be successful, there are certain conversations that you need to discuss with the other person in order to 1. Make sure you’re BOTH on the same page and 2. Figure out if you are even compatible. These conversations ensure that you have healthy communication and are discussing your own expectations throughou...

Would you agree that most people wish and pray for more money?Â
Back in 2009, we were those people. We filed for bankruptcy, we both lost our 6-figure corporate jobs and had NO idea how we were going to pay our bills.Â
The thing is, people think that making more money will help alleviate debt, have a bigger house, or be better off; when in reality, all they need to know is how to make their money WORK for them.Â
Something we had NO IDEA how to do 10 years ago.Â
That’s why in this week’s PUSH we’re sharing all our MONEY TIPS so you can be more organized and financially literate as we enter into the new year.Â

What do the holidays mean to you?Â
Does it mean laughing with friends and family?Â
Does it mean eating all the holiday treats?Â
Does it mean shopping all the holiday sales?Â
Or maybe it brings about anxiety and overwhelm? Or even sadness and grief?Â
For myself, the holidays are centered around my five favorite “F” words…Â
Faith
Food
Family
Foundation
Fitness (fitness is last because I’m all about the holiday treats)Â
I look forward to the holidays every year because it means spending unplugged quality time with my family and the people I love the most. It also means eating a SH*T ton of delicious meals, laughing til we cry, and celebrating our favorite traditions.Â
However, I know everyone doesn’t celebrate the holidays like I do and that’s OKAY! For some people, the holidays are a challenging time because it triggers loss, sadness, and grief. It can also feel really overwhelming and stressful with all the things that come along with gathering for the holidays; like gift...
When was the last time you did something completely out of your comfort zone? Or maybe a better question is: when was the last time you challenged yourself to do something that made you uncomfortable?Â
If you can’t remember the last time you’ve purposely put yourself in a situation that you knew would be unfamiliar and possibly uncomfortable then friend you may be robbing yourself of joy.Â
The truth is, when we go beyond what’s familiar in life and what’s comfortable we open ourselves up to new experiences and opportunities. When you close yourself off to trying new things and constantly seeking familiarity we can missout on new things that can bring us fulfillment and joy; and friend, we don’t want that for you.Â
In this episode, we’re sharing how the key to happiness can be found by getting outside of your comfort zone and embracing the unknown.Â
