Where do I even begin...

I never imagined I’d be helping THOUSANDS of bakers and small business owners build businesses they love… 

In fact, my life completely turned UPSIDE down in 2009 when my husband and I had just filed for bankruptcy after BOTH losing our 6-figure corporate jobs! 

I couldn’t find a job, couldn’t afford child-care, so I was trying on the “stay-at-home mom” hat when one night I caught an episode of Cake Boss. (Yup, you remember that show, right?!) 

And I thought: “That looks cool. I bet I can make that.” So I bought the ingredients, baked my very first cake, and - I was actually good at it. Like, REALLY good.

That one random cake spiraled into late nights, dozens of orders, and eventually, the launch of The Cake Mamas in 2009. And in true plot-twist fashion? I launched it with my husband’s ex (the mom of my 2 oldest daughters). YUP, you read that right.

From Home Kitchen to Food Network

Fast forward 18 months to October 1st, 2010, we GRAND OPENED our first storefront in Glendora, CA. Along the way:

  • I managed 20+ employees
  • Opened a second location.  
  • We generated millions in treats sold.
  • OH, and I appeared on Food Network 3 times - and WON twice. 

But success wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows. Fab (my husband’s ex) and I decided we were better as co-parents than business partners, so we parted (business ways) in 2012. I faced burnout so deep I neglected my health. I made mistakes that cost thousands. I second-guessed myself constantly, wondering if I was even “qualified” to run a business.

Well, know that you’re NOT alone, friend! And I’m here to help you AVOID all the mistakes and pitfalls I made along the way and to give you the WINNING blueprint to building a successful business the RIGHT WAY!

So what happened? WELL... 

I built a business that could RUN without me! I had the FREEDOM and FLEXIBILITY to do more of the things I loved- like traveling, spending quality time with my kids, exploring new hobbies and SURPRISE, helping other bakers and small biz owners achieve the same thing! 

Over time, other bakers started asking me: “How did you do it?”

Fast forward, and I found myself sharing EVERYTHING I knew about pricing, marketing, operations, sales, hiring, and scaling. And I FREAKING LOVED it. 

By 2017, coaching and consulting had become my second business. By 2020, I officially RETIRED from The Cake Mamas to go ALL IN on helping other bakers turn their passion into sustainable, profitable businesses.

After spending OVER A DECADE building my own successful business…

I’m a momma to 3 beautiful daughters. I’m gonna choose matcha over coffee every single time. You can catch me BLASTING  90’s R&B any chance I get. And I have an unhealthy obsession with traveling and eating my way through new cities!
