I'm an Artist, Educator, Multi-passionate Entrepreneur, and Founder of The Cake Mamas.
I TEACH SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS HOW TO CREATE UNSTOPPABLE BRANDS AND INCREASE THEIR PROFITS!
Because let's face it... If you're not making money, your business doesn't make sense.
To say things have been chaotic in the Copeland household is an understatement.Â
We could easily complain, break down, seek out empathy from others, and play the victim card but we just aren’t those people.Â
Instead, we’ve held it together (for the most part), have come together as a family, and are pushing through one day at a time.Â
We’ll dive into all the details in this week’s PUSH podcast episode (you won’t wanna miss this)!Â
Here’s a breakdown of what Eddie and I discussed…Â
The one thing that comes to mind as we deal with all this craziness is intention.Â
We’ve realized after 40 years that when you show up in life with intention and purpose, things just have a way of working itself out for you.Â
The truth is, there’s no medal for the BIGG...
I think we can all agree that life isn’t in any way shape or form easy. In fact it’s the exact opposite. Life is freaking HARD. No one gives you a manual for it and you just kinda have to wing it as you go. But that’s also the beauty in life.Â
So the question is, “what do you do when life is just NOT going your way?”Â
Do you crumble at the thought of getting out of bed in the morning? Do you fake your way through the bullshit? Do you power through and trust that everything will work out in the end?Â
Everyone copes with obstacles and challenges differently but what we’ve found is that ignoring and hiding from our problems will only lead us to breaking down; physically and mentally.Â
Would you agree?Â
Life is full of challenges and sometimes it doesn’t matter how hard we try; things just feel like they’re piling on top of us. We’ve definitely been there and it can also feel really lonely.Â
We wanted to bring this up because mental health has been a HUGE ISSUE that’s taken a fro...

It’s OFFICIALLY four days until Christmas and we cannot wait! This time of year brings so much joy to our family and we love being able to come together and celebrate.Â
However, this time of year may not be as joyful for others as it is for us.Â
For some the holidays bring on great stress, sadness, and resentment.Â
Some people may be dealing with the loss of a loved one or the loss of a job, some may be feeling the financial burden of the holidays, while others may not get along with their family so they resent this time of year.Â
The holidays can trigger different emotions for different people. Some may be like us, super festive and excited to do all the things; while others may feel the pressure and heavy expectations to show up during this time of year.Â
This is why we decided to discuss the different perspectives and emotions that can come up during the holidays in the hopes that it will help you navigate uncomfortable situations and be more understanding of those who don’t fi...

Would you agree that most people wish and pray for more money?Â
Back in 2009, we were those people. We filed for bankruptcy, we both lost our 6-figure corporate jobs and had NO idea how we were going to pay our bills.Â
The thing is, people think that making more money will help alleviate debt, have a bigger house, or be better off; when in reality, all they need to know is how to make their money WORK for them.Â
Something we had NO IDEA how to do 10 years ago.Â
That’s why in this week’s PUSH we’re sharing all our MONEY TIPS so you can be more organized and financially literate as we enter into the new year.Â

If you clicked on this episode, I think it’s safe to assume that maybe you’re feeling a bit lonely in this season of life right now and friend I’m here to tell you, you’re not alone.Â
In fact, the reason we decided to record this episode on loneliness is because I’m dealing with this feeling right now and I truly believe a lot of us could use some hope and inspiration to start rebuilding and seeking connection.Â
Coming off the pandemic with most of us sheltering at home, focusing on our own things; the topic of mental health has become a HUGE issue in our world.Â
As humans, we’re meant to be social and we NEED and thrive off human interaction. Without that, we tend to turn our feelings and thoughts inward and we try to handle all the things by ourselves, which can be overwhelming.Â
Although, self-independence is important and finding solitude with yourself helps you become more aware of who you are; connection and love is a crucial part of our own happiness.Â
That’s why this we...
We all know of this thing called “manifestation,” at least I hope we’ve all heard of it, because really it’s a game changer.Â
If you haven't, here is what “manifestation” means according to good ole Wikipedia: “Manifestation refers to various pseudoscientific self-help strategies intended to bring about a personal goal, primarily by focusing one's thoughts upon the desired outcome. The techniques are based on the law of attraction of New Thought spirituality.”Â
To break it down manifestation is simply focusing your attention on your desires and essentially you’re using your thoughts to attract what it is you’re turning your attention to.Â
Or even simpler… “where your attention goes, energy flows”.Â
I know it may sound, “woo woo” or a little out there and trust me, I felt the same way a few years ago, until I experienced it for myself. It may sound weird and hard to understand but to me, it’s almost like magic.Â
To help us break it down and explain the power of manifestation an...
It’s crazy to think how fast time flies…Â
I woke up to a Facebook memory (thanks Facebook) from August 27th, 2020 when Eddie and I celebrated my retirement and the last day The Cake Mamas was in business.Â
Being reminded of that day brought back so many memories. From building the business from nothing, to expanding it too two locations, to pivoting into coaching in 2017, to eventually retiring in 2020.Â
It brought on a ton of emotions… but looking back, I’m so glad I made the decision I did. The reality is, my passion for baking and creating was gone. I found myself feeling full and excited when it came to coaching and serving others in the small business space. So that’s what I did.Â
Once I retired from the bakery, I devoted my full-time to my coaching business with Eddie and now with over a thousand students and four years later, we’ve learned so much from them that we want to share with you.Â
