In fact, the reason we decided to record this episode on loneliness is because I’m dealing with this feeling right now and I truly believe a lot of us could use some hope and inspiration to start rebuilding and seeking connection.
Coming off the pandemic with most of us sheltering at home, focusing on our own things; the topic of mental health has become a HUGE issue in our world.
As humans, we’re meant to be social and we NEED and thrive off human interaction. Without that, we tend to turn our feelings and thoughts inward and we try to handle all the things by ourselves, which can be overwhelming.
Although, self-independence is important and finding solitude with yourself helps you become more aware of who you are; connection and love is a crucial part of our own happiness.
That’s why this week we’re sharing with you 10 things you can do to start feeling a little less lonely and engage more in community and connection.
