We made it friends!Â
It’s officially episode #100 and what a journey it has been!Â
Eddie and I are so happy to have reached this important milestone in our podcasting journey and can’t believe it’s finally here!Â
We are so grateful for all the Pushers out there who tune in every week, we celebrate you and thank you for being part of this amazing journey.
We are always humbled when we meet people out there who tell us how much of an impact the PUSH Podcast has on their lives and we want each one of you to know we do this for you!Â
Here’s a breakdown of what Eddie and I discussed…Â
We’re so excited to welcome back our special guest this week, ex NFL player, speaker, and now author, Anthony Trucks!Â
If you’ve been listening to the podcast for awhile you may remember Anthony back when we had him on episode 30! Just as the pandemic was starting, we welcomed Anthony on the PUSH podcast to talk about making Shift Happen in our lives to achieve happiness, success, freedom, and fulfillment. Now that life is starting to shift to a sense of normalcy, we decided to bring Anthony back to discuss how he pivoted during the pandemic and what he learned about human identity; including his own. Â
Here’s a breakdown of what Anthony, Eddie and I discussed…
Haters are ALWAYS gonna hate… but you can’t let them convince you that your message isn’t one worth sharing.Â
This week we’re so excited to welcome our new besties, Ashley and Steven Evans! Eddie came across the Evans on TikTok and once we heard their story we knew we just had to bring them on the podcast!Â
Ashley and Steven have a community of 800K followers on TikTok where they share behind-the-scenes moments of their mixed-race family. Considering the racial climate right now in our world, we found their message and platform so inspiring and we hope you guys fall in love with them just like we have!Â
Here’s a breakdown of what Eddie and I discussed with Ashley and Steven...
Â
What if you woke up every day and just told yourself that, “Today is going to be an AWESOME DAY?”Â
That’s what our guest this week, Saul Blinkoff does every day. Â
Saul is a film director, animator, and voice actor who has spent the majority of his career working for Disney Animation; working on popular films such as Mulan, Tarzan, and Pocahontas; and is now working as the supervising producer on the DREAMWORKS hit show, Madagascar: A Little WildÂ
Saul and I connected on the Clubhouse streets and after having conversations with him about mindset, growth, raising children, and podcasting; I knew we had to have him on.Â
Here’s a breakdown of what Eddie and I discussed with Saul …Â
Â
Have you ever just apologized to someone because you wanted to move on from an obstacle, issue, or problem that has been lingering over your relationship?Â
If you said no, you’re probably lying cause I can guarantee everyone has done it at least once in their lifetime whether they realize it or not.Â
It’s so easy for us to give half-ass apologies especially when we’re young because with friends you get into little disagreements here and there, you talk about it, and push it under the rug.Â
Now that we’re entering into an age of cancel culture and it seems like every celebrity or person of influence is apologizing for something new everyday. It’s easy to see who’s being genuine and who’s just following a PR script.Â
On the flip side, as we get older, and we experience new things, as we grow, actions that mirror actions of a teenager are no longer acceptable.Â
For example, if you’ve listened to episode number 93, then you know about the drama that went down at my little sister’s g...
Let’s time travel!
Â
In this episode, we are taking you back to the year 2009 - the year I decided to start my own business out of absolutely nothing. Â
Â
But before we even get to that moment, Eddie and I are going to explain some of the reasons why we had to completely reinvent ourselves and let go of some of our biggest dreams. Yea, you read that right - we had to walk away from some of our dreams.
Â
Imagine that you’re starting a life with your partner in a new home, with a new baby, a recently acquired mortgage and you both going on their way up in the corporate ladder.Â
Â
Now imagine that the country is going through one of the worst financial periods in history and you both lose your jobs at the same time.
Â
Now, you...
👉 are struggling financially
👉 you can’t afford your mortgage anymore
👉 your relationship is being strained
👉 and there is no other option for you other than staying home taking care of the children because you can’t afford chi...
If we told you that, no matter how hard you try to be the perfect parent, you're going to ruin your child - how would that make you feel?
In the 4th episode of this podcast, we are jumping right into one of those topics that people don't like talking about.
Parenting. That's the topic of our conversation today.
We are sharing some of our most important bits of knowledge about parenting and, we've figured out that the best way to do it, is by tracking down those outstandingly significant experiences that all of us had with our parents that marked our path into becoming the parents that we are today.
We think that stepping back and looking deep into your own childhood can have some of the best lessons on how you should raise your child.
This doesn't mean copy/paste everything your parents did to your kids.
That's a recipe for disaster.Â
Just like we discussed in our episode on marriage, the world of today is way different than the world you were raised in, so...
Â
Â
Whether you are married or not - you NEED to listen to this episode!Â
Â
There is so much that people don’t ever seem to mention about marriage. It seems to either be all sunshine and roses or dark and doom.
Â
And with how fast everything is changing in our current society - i.e. social media, technology, societal norms, etc - nothing you read and were thought that isn’t based on information in the last few years is useless.
Â
Marriage is such a complex thing and you must go into knowing a few things.
Â
One of those is - there will be A LOT of things you do NOT agree on.
Â
And that’s ok.
Â
We’ve had countless disagreements over the course of our marriage including things like, how do we discipline our kids and how we deal with crying babies. And whether it was the kids arguing or them crying as babies - we had one rule.
Â
The Golden Rule: Anything we do or say to each other, we must be accountable for.
Â
In this episode, we’re taking the c...

Is personal development a priority for you?
Â
I mean, is it REALLY a priority for you?
Â
The definition of Wikipedia is…
Â
Personal development covers activities that improve awareness and identity, develop talents and potential, build human capital and facilitate employability, enhance the quality of life and contribute to the realization of dreams and aspirations.Â
Â
Personal development takes place over the course of a person's entire life.
Â
It’s not a quick fix.
Â
It’s not a single book.
Â
It’s not one conference.
Â
It’s not one workout or meditation session.
It's the constant pursuit of a better version of yourself.Â
Â
This is one of our favorite subjects and we are going to be diving deep into it on this episode.
Â
If you’ve ever wondered...

For the past two years, we have kicked around the idea of starting a podcast. As podcast junkies, we understood the power of them to get a message out to the masses and make an impact, but we just could never get it off the ground.Â
Have you ever had any projects like that?
We’d dive in, then life would take over and other projects would gain priority.
Well, we finally got tired of that and said, damn it, we are doing this.
We committed!
In this episode, we are giving you a first formal taste of The Push Podcast and we’re so excited because we have SO MUCH we wanna cover with you! Such as…
...and the list goes on and on!
One of the big areas we will focus on will be personal development. Doubling down on this has made a HUGE impact on both of our lives!Â
There so many great options when it comes to...
