Holding A Grudge? How To Release It!

Question: How do you respond when you’re faced with conflict? 

Do you face the conflict head on? Do you take a few days to think about the situation and then address it? Or do you completely avoid it? 

If you’re the type to completely avoid it you may also  be the type who is prone to holding grudges. 

While everybody is susceptible to holding a grudge, some personality types are more prone to it. They might be doing it as a coping mechanism or they simply don’t know how to release it when they feel they’ve been wronged. 

The truth is, holding grudges is one of the most common ways people respond when dealing with conflict in relationships and in life. Some of us even hold grudges to the point where it begins to impact our mental and physical health. 

This is why it’s so important to learn how to navigate conflict and discover the root of why you can’t move on.
