But, just because you’re not on the fast track to becoming the next Oprah, doesn’t mean you can’t steal some of her strategies.
There are so many important money lessons you can learn from the rich – lessons that can get you a one-way ticket OUT of broke central.
So, let’s get right into it. We’re talking four money tips you can put into practice TODAY to make money like the rich.
1. Rich people are disciplined
64% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck.
On one hand, people THINK they just don’t make enough money. They’re always praying for more money, praying for a raise, when really they need to pray for BETTER TOOLS & STRATEGIES to manage their money.
To be honest with you friend, you can’t really expect to live that millionaire lifestyle if you blow your $$ the minute it hits your bank account.
While the urge to “spend more because you have more” is HUGE, the key to generating WEALTH revolves around your spending habits and how you control yourself, sis!
Instead of praying for MORE money, you can focus on saving a percentage of your paychecks and look into investing your money so you can create long-term wealth. The kind that can put your kids through college, pay off DEBT, and set yourself up for retirement.
2. Rich people are obsessed with knowing everything about their money
If I walk into your house right now, and ask you “Where does your money come from? What are you spending it on?”
Would you have numbers? Or would you give me some half-assed answer?
No one obsesses over their money MORE than rich people.
Rich people have spreadsheets to track exactly where their money is, financial advisors helping them and guiding them, and multiple Plan Bs in case things go South.
If you wanna make more money, you first need to know WHERE your money is coming from and WHERE you’re spending it!
#3. Rich people don’t just have salaries, they have ASSETS!
You’ll never meet a wealthy person with just one source of income.
Anyone who knows their way around money makes sure that they’re getting it from different places — their job, their portfolios, small side hustles, real estate, and more.
If you wanna build wealth, you need to diversify your income streams so when sh*t hits the fan (the pandemic, anyone?), you don’t freak out and start dipping in that savings account.
#4. Rich people DON’T think money is evil
“Money is the devil himself and taxes are a burden from hell”
When you don’t grow up with a lot of money, you start to believe the saying, “money is the root of all evil”.
But when you DO grow up with money, you feel… nothing at all. It’s just another tool to open up opportunities for the things you want in life.
True growth happens when you let go of your money baggage and start seeing money for what it truly is — ABUNDANCE!
