Time, Quality, Or Money? Which Do You Spend More Of?

Let’s talk about currency! 

I truly believe there are three types of currency in our lives! 

1. Time
2. Quality 
3. Money!!! 

Sure we all value money. When we grow up we turn our wild “wanna be” dreams into what “dreams” will make us the most money. Am I right to think this? 

Look at this way…

When we ask kids what they want to be when they grow up they always say something crazy like a superhero. And then when reality hits them and they start to grow up, their dreams start to become more realistic. 

But when we’re younger we don’t think about the other types of currency cause we’re so programmed to think about the big picture; MONEY! 

So we’re here to offer a different perspective. What if we eliminate money from the picture and instead we choose to value time and quality!

Here’s a breakdown of what Eddie and I discussed…

As we’ve grown older we have realized that out of the three types of currency, you can only ever have two. 

Personally, we’ve grown to value time over anything else because it’s the one thing you can never get back. Before taking on something it’s so important to think about how much “time” this is going to take out of your life. Are you going to have to sacrifice time with family and friends? Are you going to have to sacrifice sleep? 

This goes for careers and professions as well. Is it worth trading your time for a salary? It’s something we all have to think about as our priorities and aspirations shift through life. 

Everything in life is going to come down to these three currencies. It’s up to you to weigh them and decide which one you will value the most.
