Must-Have Amazon Prime Day Deals for Bakers!

AMAZON PRIME DAY is here! (Aka the Black Friday for Amazon enthusiasts like me!) And if you’re a baker who bakes from home or owns a storefront, Amazon Prime Day is a GREAT day to access amazing deals on some of the must-haves we NEED! 🙌🏼 and to be honest, things we just wanna have and get for a great price!

So, I wanted to share some of the BEST DEALS I’ve found on some of my favorite essentials, tools, and supplies so you don’t have to spend hours researching and debating what tools you should or shouldn’t buy for your business.

These are all products that I SWEAR by and ones that I used in my own bakery, so you know that I’m not gonna be linking things just to link them.

1. KitchenAid Classic 4.5 Quart Mixer: Every baker NEEDS at least 2 high-quality mixers that will LAST because you are going to be putting some wear and tear on these babies no matter if you’re baking from home or operating a storefront. And if you’ve been baking for a while (or even just started) you know these mixers are EXPENSIVE so grab one on sale while you can! 
2. Stackable Plastic Storage Bins: These are GREAT if you have limited space but love an organized kitchen or workspace! I love to use these to store cookie cutters and label each bin with the theme of the cookie cutters inside. (Ex: Christmas, Halloween, Sports, Princess, etc). These bins make it easy to find specific cookie cutters you’re looking for and keep track of what cutters or tools you already have!  

3. Pastry Bag Clips: Every baker needs like 8,000 of these! They can easily get lost because they are small but they are super cheap for a TON of them! Use them to keep your pastry bags closed and they can easily pop off and on.

4. Large Round Piping Tips: These are ESSENTIAL for frosting cupcakes or stacking cakes. Every baker needs a TON of these because like the pastry bag clips, they are easy to lose but you will use these tips a lot. So never a bad idea to grab more if they’re on sale.

5. 24” Fabric Pastry Bags: Now, I know a lot of you say you don’t like using fabric bags cause they’re hard to clean but a friend they really aren’t HARD at all. Once you’re done with them, you just soak them in hot water and dish soap and dry them inside out. They will last you FOREVER, and save you so much money in the long run instead of buying disposable pastry bags every month.

6. KitchenAid Silicone Oven Mitt Set: You can never have too many oven mitts! And these KitchenAid ones are GREAT quality for the price point!

7. Wall Mounted Ring Light: I first discovered this while I visiting my student and friend, Erica’s bakery called Chic Sugars. She had this ring light mounted on her wall along with a photo backdrop so she could easily take product photos for upcoming holidays or content and didn’t have to constantly drag the ring light out of a storage closet. She just had to swing it off the wall and put it back once she was done with whatever she was doing. So GENIUS!!!

8. 3 Roller Wall Mounted Backdrop: Perfect for taking product photos, you pull whichever color backdrop you want, take your photo, rip the paper backdrop off once you’re done and you’re good to go. If I still had my bakery I would have invested in this in a heartbeat! We only had a 700 sq ft space to work with so this would have been a NO-BRAINER investment!

9. Clear Plastic Drawer Organizer Set: These are great for storing your smaller tools like exacto knives, cake spatulas, acrylic rounds, rolling pins, tylose powder, and ANY cake decorating tools. They are small enough to store inside a workbench and stackable so you can store them on racks, in drawers, etc.

10. Mobile Phone Holder: This is great for recording content of any kind and you’re able to clamp it to any table or workstation making it super easy to record behind-the-scenes content in your business.

11. Silicone Baking Mats: Another essential for baking in general. These are great for making macarons, cookies, or dough of any kind. Plus, since they’re silicon they are super easy to clean.

12. Stainless steel measuring cups and spoons: Every baker should invest in high-quality, commercial-grade measuring cups and spoons. Once you turn your hobby into a business- it’s a good idea to start investing in high quality tools that you will last you a long time because you’re going to be using them very often. You want something that will sustain the wear and tear.

13. Spray Bottles: These are one of my BIGGEST hacks and most underrated tools. Fill a spray bottle with your simple syrup mixture and you can spray all your cakes before you fill and frost them so once they’re in the freezer they won’t dry out.
